JEE Advanced Answer Key

This is entrance exam season in India and engineering and medical aspirants across the country are thinking about various exams and results. Two of the three most popular engineering entrance examinations, JEE Main (for admission to National Institutes of Technology, previously known as AIEEE) and JEE Advanced, are over, and the BITSAT (for admission in Birla Institute of Technology and Science will be conducted till the end of this month.

The results of JEE Main have been announced. The results of JEE Advanced – the entrance examination to get into the premier engineering institutes in the country, the Indian Institutes of Technology, are yet to come. The entire country is buzzing with excitement and apprehension.

JEE Advanced, previously known as IIT-JEE, was conducted this year on 21st May. Over two lakhs students who were selected in the JEE Main were eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.

In 2012, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that used to conduct AIEEE, announced that JEE – a common exam would replace AIEEE and IIT-JEE. JEE consists of two parts – JEE Main and JEE advanced. Only students selected in JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced has two papers, and each paper has three separate sections for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Both Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and numerical questions are asked in JEE Advanced.

According to students and teachers, this year’s JEE Advanced question paper was easy compared to previous years. There is a lot of speculation over the marks versus rank for JEE Advanced 2017. Although the leading coaching institutes in the country are predicting the rank of the students based on previous years’ marks versus ranks, these predictions cannot be guaranteed given this year’s easy question paper.

Leading coaching institutes in the country, like Allen, FIITJEE, Resonance has also published the answer key for JEE Advanced 2017. However, there are a lot of ambiguities and incorrect answers in all these answer keys.
